Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions - Escort patients to and from therapy equipment and patient rooms - Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions - Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Ensure a clean and organized therapy environment
Experience:
- Familiarity with exercise terminology and some knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred - Ability to provide excellent patient service and maintain a high level of professionalism Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals - Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team - Attention to detail to accurately document patient information and progress - Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility exercises and transfers As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of quality care to patients.
