Golden Valley Natural is a rapidly growing meat snack company located in Shelley, Idaho.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly creative individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist.
This role will be responsible for creating visually stunning graphics and engaging social media content to elevate our brand presence across various platforms.
Job Description:
As a Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our visual identity and digital marketing strategies.
You will collaborate with various teams including marketing, sales, and production to deliver impactful graphics and social media campaigns that effectively communicate our brand story to our target audience.
Responsibilities:
1.
Graphic Design:
- Create eye-catching and on-brand graphics for use across various marketing channels, including social media platforms, websites, emails, print materials, and advertisements.
- Utilize industry-standard design software to conceptualize and execute visually appealing designs that align with our brand guidelines.
- Incorporate typography, visual hierarchy, and color theory to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their design needs, provide creative input, and deliver high-quality designs within agreed timelines.

Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive conversions.
- Create and curate engaging social media content (including images, videos, gifs, and infographics) that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
- Schedule and publish content on various social media platforms using social media management tools.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, discussions, and conversations relevant to our industry, brand, and target audience.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on our social media platforms, fostering positive engagement and building relationships with our community.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, ideally in a similar role or industry.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
) - Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices for content creation and engagement (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
) - Excellent visual design skills with creativity and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and composition.
- Understanding of current design trends and the ability to adapt to evolving industry requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your graphic design skills, social media content creations, and successful campaigns.
